The 7th street apartments are an un-bult project in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. The undulating overhangs of the front elevation are designed to give the feeling of movement on the street. The circular balconies on the east side of the project look to Miami’s downtown skyline and great traffic coming down 7th street. The large overhang above the ground floor provides shelter for pedestrians passing by the project. A coral stone finish gives the entrance the warmth of natural materials and breaks the project down to the human scale for people interacting with the building at the ground level.
