1125 Alhambra Circle was a major renovation and addition to for the Bax family. The home located in the Alhambra Circle Historic District of Coral Gables and the design was guided by the Department of Interior standards on historic preservation. The addition consisted of a rear two story volume with an attached porch. The program contained a new kitchen and great room on the first floor and a master suite and guest bedroom on the second floor. The design and exterior vernacular elements were proportioned and detailed in the nature of the existing front elevation.
